Processing of paper containers and flexible packaging technology (Part I)

I. processing of paper containers

paper containers are containers made of cardboard used to pack goods, such as cartons, grade cups, etc. To evaluate the quality of grade containers, we should not only evaluate the quality of printing, but also evaluate the modeling of containers and the complexity of setting the processing counting probe at the position of the corresponding transmission mechanism. The manufacturing process of paper containers is: plate making, printing → surface processing → die cutting, indentation → box making

1. Materials

are generally made of cheap materials with good printing effect and suitable for the packaged goods. Some use yellow paper, kraft paper, cardboard, whiteboard, etc. as printing materials. Those with high requirements can be mounted with top-grade papers such as copper plate line on these materials. Printing ink should also be light resistant, wear-resistant, oil-resistant, drug-resistant and non-toxic according to the packaged items

4. Die cutting, creasing

(1) die cutting plate making

the better way to make a die cutting plate is to use plywood. First transfer the grade box pattern to the plywood, use a wire saw to saw the seam along the tangent and crease lines, and then insert the die cutting and crease knife lines into the plywood to make a die-cutting plate. It has the advantages of light plate, accurate overall dimensions, and preservation. It can also be controlled by computer. For laser die-cutting, input the size, shape and weight of the carton into the computer, and then the electronic computer controls the laser movement, carve all the tangent lines of the carton on the plywood, and finally insert the knife line

the poor mixing of the plastic masterbatch with the color masterbatch in its process flow will also make the product color volatile. The process is: draw the sample drawing of the grade box → draw the layout of the jigsaw → copy the layout of the jigsaw → transfer the layout of the jigsaw to the plywood → drill and saw → inlay lines → make the female template of the die-cutting plate

draw the black-and-white knife line diagram of the carton. There are various accurate sizes of the carton, and the lines are required to be very accurate, as shown in the figure

according to the sample drawing of carton and the maximum paper size that can be printed, carry out the jigsaw design. The jigsaw design should consider saving paper and facilitating the automatic removal of waste edges after die cutting. Draw the jigsaw design according to the jigsaw design

③ copy the jigsaw design drawings

copy two jigsaw design drawings, one for printing plate making and one for die cutting plate making, which can ensure consistency. Most of them still remain in the laboratory stage, and can be accurately registered during die cutting
